12:31. ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಎತ್ತರದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಲಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರೇಲಿನ ಬೇರೆಬೇರೆ ಕುಲಗಳಿಂದ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು. (ಅವನು ಲೇವಿಯರ ಕುಲವೊಂದರಿಂದಲೇ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.)

12:31. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಒಂದು ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಲೇವಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲದ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಜನರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿ ದನು.
